Three small huts are on the flat house of the ground floor, they are the private spaces. Each hut has windows in four directions for bringing in light and wind. The huts make maximum use of the light and ventilation; and face the rice field to take advantage of the wonderful views. In each of the huts, the interior finishes are different. The western hut is finished in wood with familiar atmosphere corresponding to the function of the daily-use bedroom; the central hut’s interior is finished in metal, and the eastern hut is finished in mirror and paint with strong gloss so that the exterior reflects on the surfaces. The outside comes inside.
